System requirements

The system requirements for Smartmail 4.5 are detailed as follows.

The application comes bundled with the Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 Redistributable and Microsoft WSE 2.0 SP3, which will detect and install automatically as part of the process.

The following table shows the minimum system requirements for Smartmail 4.5

Minimum Requirements:

Processor		Pentium 233-megahertz (MHz) processor or faster (300 MHz is recommended)

Operating System		The .NET Framework 2.0 Redistributable is supported on the following platforms: Windows Vista (.NET Framework 3.0 is installed as part of the operating system) Microsoft Windows® Server 2003* Windows XP Professional* Windows XP Home Edition* Windows 2000* *Windows NT 4.0 Terminal Server is not supported

Additional Software		Microsoft Excel 2000 or later. Microsoft Access 2000 or later.

Memory		128 megabytes (MB) of RAM, 512 MB recommended

Display		800 x 600 or higher-resolution display with 256 colors

Input Device		Keyboard and a Microsoft Mouse or some other compatible pointing device

Other		Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or later is required. Install the latest Windows service packs and critical updates from the Windows Update site.
